The Importance of Lifelong Learning Opportunities

At Hausch & Company, one of the things we value most is an education. We feel very strongly that a good education lays the groundwork in both your personal and professional life. We have always encouraged our employees to grow, develop and challenge themselves whether they are fresh out of college or have been with us for decades, and we are lucky that our employees share those same values.

Patrick Mullaghy, our Liability Manager and Compliance Officer, was recently recognized in a campaign for Northern Illinois University (NIU) as someone that has a shared family bond with NIU that extends through multiple generations within his family. In the campaign, he emphasizes the importance of a great education and how dedicated professors can help you on the path to being an innovator and teach you how to make your goals fit into today’s fast-paced society.

Over the course of his time at Hausch & Company, Patrick has shown that he is an innovator in his field by improving our technical efficiency and capabilities as well as showing exceptional leadership skills. Patrick prides himself on being a passionate lifelong learner, and has continued his education since earning his BS degree from NIU. He received his MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management as well as the highest designation in the Property Casualty industry, his CPCU designation.

We are committed to investing in the continuing education of our employees by encouraging, supporting and providing development opportunities. We are proud to say that 100% of our adjusters have continued their education while at Hausch & Company to obtain industry designations, licensing and continuing education, including but not limited to the AIC, CPCU, and Haag Certification.

Providing these opportunities benefits everyone involved. While our employees expand their knowledge and develop their careers within the claims industry, we — and our customers — enjoy the benefits of working with a highly knowledgeable and professional staff that is up-to-date with the ever-changing insurance marketplace.
